Yeah so I went to see Toy Story 3 last night. There really isn't much to say about it to be honest.
It was a good film. If you enjoyed Toy Story 1 and 2 (and if you didn't you are either a heartless bastard.... or Bish) then you will enjoy this one as well.
There are some adult jokes in amongst the children's ones to keep the parents entertained. In fact there was a lot that anyone under the age of 14 would not understand :P
Some of Ken's jokes are hilarious and he is a brilliant addition to the team. Some of his actions and poses reminded me of my brother so I did enjoy it a little more. It is funny as everyone mocks him for being a girls toy.
One of the most memorable moments for me personally is when Rex holds down Buzz's reset button for too long. I wont ruin it for you but I did not expect what was actually going to happen. It actually cracked me up.
Even though the film focuses around Woody, Buzz really steals the spot light in this one. He has some of the best lines in the film.
and of course Mr Potato Head should diffidently get the Oscar for best supporting actor as he had some really funny moments.

There were of course a few bits that weren't great. A lot of the lines and actions were very similar to the previous films. The baddie and everything that they go through with him from the moment you see him to the end reeked of familiarity to the Prospector in number 2. It did feel a little like a homage to the previous ones.
But you can't stay mad at it for that, it did bring a lot of new stuff to the franchise. Some of the new characters that are brought in are well thought-out and funny because of the toys they are based on.

There were some things that you would only see if you were a Toy Story fan.... I am so I noticed them :P lol
Little secret things such as Cid, the boy who blew up toys in number 1, he is in the film as a background character
And I just really felt like this added a nice touch to it.

Overall it was a good film. You know what you are getting if you go and see it.
This is mainly for the people who enjoyed number 1 and 2,
but also for anyone like me who grew up watching them giving that Toy Story 1 came out in 1995!!!!!!! I was 8 for fuck sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will give the film an 7 out of 10. Obviously no where near as good as the first one as it was the stuff of legends.... but it was still very enjoyable.

Pow!

Well, I took Eve to see this yesterday, and it was... alright. Danny pretty much gets it, all though he seems more of a fan boy... at least I had an excuse to go see this ;)

Where was Cid danny? I didn't see him refernced at all? And whwere was Zurg? Totally wanted Zurg to turn up!!

All in all it's OK, but it's no Wall:E

man fuck Wall:E
Wall:E is a fags film, only steers and queers like that
and you don't look like much of a steer so that only leaves one option.
Toy story kicks the arse off of Wall:E from here to the dystopian earth of which it is set in!!!!!!!
Monsters Inc... that is a different story
but we will speak of this another time.

Sid was the bin-man who was constantly rocking out and what not when he was putting the rubbish bags in the truck.
I knew it was him buy his ZERO skateboarding t-shirt that he had on, the same one he had on in the first film.
;)
only rewatching the first one recently (i say recently it was about about a year ago) that i noticed it was a ZERO skateboarding logo.

I was also disappointed that Zurg didn't show up :(
I really wanted him to come up and start fucking things up.

My brother was disappointed with the ending (don't worry i wont give it away) you know the bit with the fire where they all hold hands paul? hahhahaa he wanted what was coming to happen. lol

Still overall it goes:
Wall:E - Finding Nemo - Toy Story 3- Toy Story 2 - Toy Story 1 - Monsters Inc

END OF

x

Not sure Shrek counts its not from the Pixar stable but Dreamworks.

And Wall:E is quality. I'll grant you ToyStory 1&2 are more fun but Wall:E is a different movie all together. Before the usual Pixar fare in space that is.

I think I reviewed it somewhere

Oh and PS where's the Incredibles in your list, damn fine film.

Well Jennie and I saw this last night and i loved it! i always liked TS1, 2 had promise but never really delivered for me but 3 i thought was great. was great to see the aliens have more of a part, and loved spotting toys in the playgroup, i had one of those phones and i spotted a fisher price garage i used to have too! plenty of jokes for young and old and i must admit i thought the 3D was the best i've seen yet on an animated film.

Mucho respect for having a plush Totoro in the film to, although i think Jennie got a bit annoyed at me saying "i want one!" everytime he was on screen, but a big ol salute to Hayao Miyazaki.

and the monkey was genius!

and for the record i love Wall:E! i think that film is beautiful....well up till when the people start getting involved.
