Yeah so I went to see Toy Story 3 last night. There really isn't much to say about it to be honest.
It was a good film. If you enjoyed Toy Story 1 and 2 (and if you didn't you are either a heartless bastard.... or Bish) then you will enjoy this one as well.
There are some adult jokes in amongst the children's ones to keep the parents entertained. In fact there was a lot that anyone under the age of 14 would not understand
Some of Ken's jokes are hilarious and he is a brilliant addition to the team. Some of his actions and poses reminded me of my brother so I did enjoy it a little more. It is funny as everyone mocks him for being a girls toy.
One of the most memorable moments for me personally is when Rex holds down Buzz's reset button for too long. I wont ruin it for you but I did not expect what was actually going to happen. It actually cracked me up.
Even though the film focuses around Woody, Buzz really steals the spot light in this one. He has some of the best lines in the film.
and of course Mr Potato Head should diffidently get the Oscar for best supporting actor as he had some really funny moments.
There were of course a few bits that weren't great. A lot of the lines and actions were very similar to the previous films. The baddie and everything that they go through with him from the moment you see him to the end reeked of familiarity to the Prospector in number 2. It did feel a little like a homage to the previous ones.
But you can't stay mad at it for that, it did bring a lot of new stuff to the franchise. Some of the new characters that are brought in are well thought-out and funny because of the toys they are based on.
There were some things that you would only see if you were a Toy Story fan.... I am so I noticed them

lol
Little secret things such as Cid, the boy who blew up toys in number 1, he is in the film as a background character
And I just really felt like this added a nice touch to it.
Overall it was a good film. You know what you are getting if you go and see it.
This is mainly for the people who enjoyed number 1 and 2,
but also for anyone like me who grew up watching them giving that Toy Story 1 came out in 1995!!!!!!! I was 8 for fuck sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will give the film an 7 out of 10. Obviously no where near as good as the first one as it was the stuff of legends.... but it was still very enjoyable.
Pow!
